Does the ≥0.99 Power Factor save money?

Absolutely. By maintaining a PF of ≥0.99, the charger ensures nearly all the electricity drawn from the grid is used for charging. This reduces "reactive power" which can lead to lower utility bills and avoid surcharges for poor grid efficiency.
